It's an annual tradition for John & Bethany to have people over for a Thanksgiving meal. If you're in the city and would like to celebrate Thanksgiving together with some Joy Manhattanites and any guests you have then please RSVP by November 11th and to receive more info, email: email@example.com.
College students, come and join our bi-monthly meetings where we fellowship with one another through food, studying the Bible and praying for one another. our next bi-monthly meeting will be Saturday, November 17 from 5-7PM at the Church Office (224 W. 35th St. #610)! If you're interested in getting involved or for more info, please email David<firstname.lastname@example.org>.
You can also visit us at the Joy College Corner. A time to connect with other students from various campuses and to pray with one another after service. This happens weekly during the school year, and non-college students are also welcome to come and chat!
*Joy College Ministry seeks to care for, equip, and challenge college students, while partnering with them in their calling to share the Gospel across campuses.
JOY IS HIRING!
We are seeking a PART-TIME or FULL-TIME Administrative Assistant/Ministry Assistant to the Joy Manhattan campus. The person will work closely with church staff and lay leaders in assisting with ministry and logistical needs.
Our Community Groups (aka small groups) are about 6-12 people who gather weekly in members' homes throughout the city. We worship, read and try to apply a bible passage, pray for one another, encourage and simply enjoy doing life together. Check out the brochure here and email a leader directly to join.
Short-term missions are a great way to encourage our missionary partners and participate in what God is doing throughout the nations. If you are possibly interested in going to a short-term mission this year, please sign-up here. You can also check out our website for more information.
MONTHLY WORSHIP NIGHT
Worship nights are held on the first Friday of every month at 7:30 pm. Our upcoming one is Friday, December 7 at 7:30PM. It's to come together and bend our knees, stand in awe, and invite the presence of God. No agenda. For any and all to attend. No elaborate worship set. Just our hearts, united as one body. We're going to seek God's glory and experience Him. Come, for an hour or two, let's prioritize our intimacy with the One who is worthy. Questions? Email Dan <email@example.com>
