What's happening At Joy?
We are excited to introduce an upcoming class that will start during our winter on December 20 at 7:30pm. The class is based on Tim Keller’s “Reason for God” book and will address the frequent doubts that skeptics, and even ardent believers, have about religion. Save the date - Saturday, February 10 for our church-wide outreach in New York City where we walk through each street in Manhattan each winter on a search and rescue mission for every homeless person we pass by. Intimacy with God is our highest core value we want to practice as a church. Start your day with God in adoration. Pray for your day, read the Bible, receive His love, pray for others. At the end of the week join us on Friday nights to adore God and lift up our church and city.

It's never too late to start reading the bible! Pastor John recommends this plan that takes the reader through the Old Testament once and the New Testament and Psalms twice per year. This means reading about four chapters a day, taken from different parts of the Bible.
Feel free to use any of the following resources for your daily bible reading:
(Feel free to read just the "Family" reading and then in Year 2 read the "Secret" reading.)
