"BUT WHILE HE WAS STILL A LONG WAY OFF, HIS FATHER SAW HIM AND WAS FILLED WITH COMPASSION FOR HIM, HE RAN TO HIS SON..."
God's grace changes everything.

What's happening At Joy?
Every 3rd Saturday of the month join us on our monthly outreach to the Relief Bus.
Our next outreach to the Relief Bus is Saturday, October 21st from 7:30-10:30PM at the Southwest corner of 41st & 9th Ave. This is a ministry to serve the city by sharing the love of God with our needy neighbors every month at the Relief Bus. We serve lemonade, soup and bread, give referrals, give out clothes and pray for them.
Interested in joining us? Email Minhee Cho at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Incredible opportunities are coming up to join God on His mission to reach the world! Please pray about where God would have you to serve this Fall. Contact the team leaders for more information on each specific mission trip.
Are you ready to be salt and light where it is needed most? Allow God to use you in a place you never thought possible! Pray about joining us as we go to work with Joy Missionaries J & S in East Asia, teaching English and sharing the Gospel.
Date: December 1-9, 2017 Team Leader: Andy Choi

WORSHIP NIGHT (First Fridays monthly, 7:30PM)
Worship nights are held on the first Friday of every month at 7:30 pm. Our upcoming one is this Friday, November 3 at 7:30PM.
It's to come together and bend our knees, stand in awe, and invite the presence of God. No agenda. For any and all to attend. No elaborate worship set. Just our hearts, united as one body. We're going to seek God's glory and experience Him. Come, for an hour or two, let's prioritize our intimacy with the One who is worthy.
It's never too late to start reading the bible! Pastor John recommends this plan that takes the reader through the Old Testament once and the New Testament and Psalms twice per year. This means reading about four chapters a day, taken from different parts of the Bible.
Feel free to use any of the following resources for your daily bible reading:
(Feel free to read just the "Family" reading and then in Year 2 read the "Secret" reading.)
